The Turning Point for America #25: Walking the Straight Path of Wisdom - Proverbs 4:10-12 TS2009

10 Hear, my son, and accept my words, And let the years of your life be many.

11 I have taught you in the way of wisdom, I have led you in straight paths.

12 When you walk your steps shall not be hindered, And if you run you shall not stumble.

Proverbs 4:10-12 TS2009

At this critical juncture in America’s story, the words of Solomon echo like a timeless call to remembrance: “Hear, my son, and accept my words, and let the years of your life be many.” These verses speak to a generational transmission of divine wisdom—a father’s plea to his children to receive instruction, not as restriction, but as preservation. America now stands where wisdom must again be heard and accepted, where truth must replace confusion, and where moral straightness must replace the crooked ways of compromise and corruption. The “way of wisdom” that Solomon speaks of is the narrow path of righteousness, discernment, and humility—principles once woven into our nation’s founding fabric. To walk in these ways is to move unhindered by the snares of deception; to run without stumbling is to be guided by the light of divine truth rather than the flicker of man’s pride. This turning point demands that America return to disciplined listening—hearing not the clamor of political rhetoric, but the still, steady voice of wisdom calling her back to virtue, accountability, and faith. If the people will again accept those words—if they will allow themselves to be led in straight paths—then the promise follows: her steps shall not be hindered, her race toward renewal shall not stumble, and her days as a beacon of liberty and righteousness shall be many upon the earth.
