However, in 1871, a pivotal and consequential shift occurred, marking the hijacking of our nation and the creation of a corrupt corporate entity known as UNITED STATES INC. Subsequently, the governance of our nation took a different trajectory, adopting the form of a democracy, a departure from the republic that had once defined our nation's character.
