Trump Tells Story of Francis Scott Key and the Battle of Baltimore
In the heart of a nation, where dreams are sewn,
Stands a symbol of strength, not easily overthrown.
The Francis Scott Key Bridge, a steadfast sentinel,
Witness to history, where tales of valor dwell.
March 26th, 2024, a date engraved in history's scroll,
A day of transition, a verse in the tale of the soul.
Of America's story, where bridges may fall,
The spirit of America endures, standing proud and tall.
Though the structure may crumble, its cables fray,
The spirit of unity in America will never decay.
For beyond the steel and concrete's embrace,
Lies a nation steadfast, resilient, in every place.
The Star-Spangled Banner, in its glory unfurled,
Speaks of a legacy that has spanned the world.
With stripes of courage and stars of hope aglow,
It's a beacon of freedom, where dreams can grow.
Though the bridge may have fallen, its echoes remain,
In the hearts of the people, who refuse to disdain
The principles of liberty, justice, and what's right,
That have guided our nation through darkest night.
For the Star-Spangled Banner still flies high,
In the hearts of the people, reaching the sky,
Its stripes of red, its field of blue,
A symbol of hope, steadfast and true.
Through trials and tribulations, through storms and strife,
The anthem of freedom beats like a drum of life,
For in every chord and every verse, we find,
The strength and resilience of a nation, intertwined.
From the dawn's early light to the twilight's last gleaming,
The anthem resounds, in the hearts of those dreaming
Of a land where all are equal, where all have a voice,
Where bridges may crumble, but hope will rejoice.
So let the Francis Scott Key Bridge be a sign,
That America's spirit will forever shine.
For as long as the flag waves in the sky,
The land of the free and the home of the brave shall not die.
