This is how love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment: In this world we are like Jesus. There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. We love because he first loved us.
1 John 4:17-19
God wants you to love yourself just the way you are, and He wants you to accept who you are completely, just the way He created to you be. God only wants you to make changes in your life as you see fit, not because you think anyone else wants you to make changes, but because you feel in your heart that God is telling you it’s the right thing to do. These changes might be a new job, a different relationship, or a different church, but you must seek God, and He will guide you in the right direction. You should never need to rely on anyone to be happy or to validate your self-worth because God is all you need. God has created you to love Him first because He is love and all love comes from Him. You will please God when you seek Him and receive His love so that He can show you how to love yourself enough to respect yourself and accept who He made you to be and realize that He placed you on this earth for a reason.
LET'S PRAY: Dear Heavenly Father, Lord, I ask that You use Your love to seal Your Word to my heart that Your Word may remain hidden in my heart, and may influence everything that I do, and every word that comes out from my mouth. Lord, fill me completely with Your Holy Spirit. Fill my heart with Your peace. Deposit Your love in my heart that everything I do is out of Your love. Lord, speak to me for I am listening. I ask You to bless me with Your wisdom. Lord, speak Your Word of promises to me for they liberate me, strengthen me, bless me, restore me, and renew me. Lord, today, I seek Your guidance. I ask to walk in Your light. I seek to bring glory to You with all that I do. I seek to glorify You with my whole being. Reveal to me all that I should do, and all that I shouldn't do. Advise me. Teach me. Speak to me and I will listen. Call on me and I will answer. Lord, I want to live a purposeful life, and I know that a life that is not focused on You is purposeless and fruitless. In the name of Your Son Jesus Christ we pray, Amen
