The Moral Compass of American Leadership Throughout History
Evil, corrupt, cunning, ambitious, and unprincipled men like George Bush Sr., Bill Clinton, George Bush Jr., Barack Obama, and Joe Biden are the men that President George Washington warned us about in his farewell address, with Barack Obama being the worst of them all.
This is what George Washington had to say in his Farewell Address to the nation in 1796:
‘…cunning, ambitious, unprincipled men will be enabled to subvert the power of the people to usurp for themselves the reins of government, destroying afterwards the very engines which have lifted them to unjust dominion. The spirit of encroachment tends to consolidate the powers of all departments in one, and thus to create, whatever the form of government, a real despotism…’”
Washington foresaw the dangers posed by such leaders who prioritize their own interests over the common good of the American people, ultimately undermining the very foundations of liberty.
