Yet America’s drift from this truth has led to scarcity not only of resources, but of wisdom, righteousness, discipline, and discernment. The scriptures continue with a warning and a comfort: to not despise the discipline or reproof of Yahweh, for such correction is the mark of His love. This is the very moment in which America finds herself—being reproved and refined by the hand of the Father who delights in His children. The trials facing our nation are not punishments of wrath, but instruments of compassion, calling her back to repentance and reverence. If America can embrace this divine correction, returning to gratitude, generosity, and submission to the everlasting Lawgiver, her storehouses will again be filled with plenty, her spirit renewed with new wine, and her destiny restored under the delight of Yahweh’s favor.
