My mom's celebration of life

Started my mom's speech out with Psalm 23.Β Β Β  "I wanna thank each and everyone who has come today to celebrate our mom's life with the family that could make it.Β  I love each and everyone of you for being here today. I'm sure most of you here had a bittersweet relationship with my mom. My mom at times was my bestfriend and at times we didn't get along at all, but none of us are perfect. The one thing I can say is we always forgave each other, we always came together again. My mom had me at 16Β  as you all know. We had more of a friendship than a mother-daughter relationship. At 7, our little family of 3 grew by 5 when my mom met Johnny and we moved in with him and his 4 kids. We truly were the Brady Bunch. We now had 2 older sisters, and 2 older brothers. My mom had met her soul mate with dad. Thank you to my sister Lynette for coming with her beautiful little family. Addiction took ahold of our parents for along time. But my mom beat that addiction and was 2 years sober. I was so, so proud of her! It was something I have prayed for since I was 13-14 years old. It was all in God's Timing."Β Β  Insert 2 Corinthians 1:3-4.Β Β  "I know my mom is in Heaven. Aunt Mary called me and my sister to tell us the nurse had been there, and mom's blood pressure was super low. Time for her to go was very close we needed to come say goodbye. When I got there Mary told me she had been agitated and restless all day and strange things had been happening all day. My Aunt prayed in the spirit over her till I got there. I get there and Mary had to leave, she already had an appt. At the funeral home for arrangements.Β  I held mom's hand and sang her 2 songs, then prayed over her. I saw my niece Haily and my grandma Norma standing there to take her into the light.Β  She took her last gulp of breathe and I felt her soul leave her body. It was me, her dog, and her as she left this life. I trauma bonded with her dog Squirt, now Harper, and brought him here today. I feel her presence everyday in him. I'm so glad she came home and we got 2 more years with her. I thank God so much for that time with her. She is now living her best life with the family that went before her. I love you all, I will leave it with these few verses and a prayer. Matthew 11:28-30 and Luke 22: 39-43.. Thank you lord Jesus for bringing us all here today to celebrate my mom's life and to bring us together and love on one another during this time. Pray for the safety of everyone as they travel back home. In your precious son's name we pray, AMEN.
